2011 COMPETITION FIXTURES

Prizes/trophies for previous months competitions will be awarded at the annual presentation night

NOTES

1) AT WEEKENDS ALL CARDS MUST BE IN THE CLUBHOUSE BEFORE 7PM ON DAY OF PLAY (WEEKDAYS DIRECTLY AFTER ROUND)

2) WHEN MEMBERS GUESTS ARE ALLOWED THEY MUST PROVIDE HOME COURSE DETAILS AND PLAY WITH THAT MEMBER

3) PRIZES AND VOUCHERS WILL BE AWARDED AT THE CAPTAINS SOCIAL NIGHT.

4) MAJOR TROPHIES WILL BE PRESENTED AT AN ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING FUNCTION TO BE ARRANGED

5) LADIES MUST PLAY FROM THE REGULATION RED BOXES NOT THE SHORTER LADIES TEES

COMPETITION SCORECARDS

All competition fees MUST be paid before play is commenced. If teeing off before reception is open, fees must be paid the day before as with green fees.  All cards MUST be countersigned by a marker who has played or walked the 18 Holes and show the members name & membership number.  In doubles competitions one card MUST be marked for each pair and signed by a marker who is not one of the pair. In all cases the GROSS SCORE MUST be entered in column A or B for the appropriate player as named at the top of the card. The far right column is for stableford points or in the case of betterball strokeplay the best net after deduction of strokes as per stroke index.

HANDICAPS
All of the above single competitions marked "Q" will be used for Handicap adjustment. Check notice boards for adjustments. Please do not ring reception if it is only to check handicaps.  To keep a vaild handicap you need to play in at least 3 qualifying singles competitions.  To obtain a new handicap leave 3 correctly completed scorecards at reception.  If you have held a recent handicap at another club you MUST declare this.
