WINTER PLAYING CONDITIONS

We shall endevour to keep both our main Tees and Greens in play during the winter months.  However subject to weather conditions on the day of play this might change when we shall switch to Winter Tees which are fully drained and our Full Spec Second Greens.

TEE MATS

Tee Mats will NOT be needed by to play at Longhirst this winter.

PITCH MARKS
Pitch marks on greens repaired immediately take only 24 hours to restore fully. Unrepaired marks left over 24 hours take over a month to fully recover.

It is a condition of play that you must repair your pitchmarks and divots.

TEE TIME CANCELLATIONS
We would appreciate it if members who are unable to play golf on the days and times pre-booked could contact the clubhouse to cancel same to avoid no-shows. This enables the clubhouse to book the space for other players. In the near future no shows and cancellations within 3 hours of their tee-time will be charged £5 Per person, this will be collected at check in on the day, if a total no show happens then an invoice will be sent out. EARLY TEE-TIMES
Any golfers wishing to play before clubhouse is open can book their tee times as normal and pay up to one month in advance to receive a receipt. Fees are non-refundable unless the course is closed.

JOINING TOGETHER OF GOLFERS
The course reserves the right to join golfers together to make 4 balls to maximize the use of the course.

Please note that it is a condition of play that players must replace divots, carry a pitch mark repairer and repair at least two pitch marks per green. Please remember to keep your receipt on your person when playing. Anyone unable to produce a receipt will be told to leave the course. We would ask members to convert to soft spikes when they renew their golf shoe studs.
