MATS
Tee
Mats will be needed by every golfer wishing to play at Longhirst
during the winter months November until March. These can be purchased
from the Clubhouse at a current cost of £2.50 (this is a one off
payment as the mats are yours to keep) please remember your mat
when playing (NO MAT NO PLAY)
JOINING
TOGETHER OF GOLFERS
The course reserves the right to join golfers together to make
4 balls to maximize the use of the course.
DRESS
CODE
All
persons on the Golf Course (EXCEPT GOLF COURSE GREEN STAFF) must
be properly dressed. This means they must have a shirt
with a collar and acceptable golfing apparel. Tailored shorts
must be worn with socks (NOT FOOTBALL SOCKS).
THE
FOLLOWING ARE NOT ALLOWED:-
1.
Any vests or sleeveless tops
2. Football strips or tracksuits
3. Football boots or everyday shoes (FLAT SOLES)
4. Jeans

NO
SHOW POLICY
Our
No Show Policy - If anyone does not show up for their reserved
tee-time OR does not cancel at least 3 hours before the booked
tee off time (if you are playing before 10.28am you must then
cancel the day before), then such a member will be charged £7.00
per person with a maximum payment of £28.00 to replace the
revenue to the Golf Course. This applies even if you have a membership
where you do not pay green fees since we could have sold the tee
time to someone else. When cancelling please ensure Clubhouse
staff have done this on the booking system and obtain a computer
reference number. However, we must point out that the consistent
offenders not cancelling their tee time will lose their membership
of this Golf Course.
Our
Part No Show Policy - Unused reserved tee-times will be charged
for - i.e. if booking for 4 and only 2 or 3 golfers turn up then
the other golfers will have to pay for non-cancelled tee-time.
This charge will be £7.00 for each no show person (Please
ensure that when contacting the Clubhouse to reduce your numbers
that staff have done this on the booking system and obtain a computer
reference number).
DAILY
RULES
As
directed by Reception entry or by Starter on day of play or as
directed by course signage.
REFUNDS
POLICY
No
Refunds payable once Green Fees have been paid.
OTHER
INFORMATION
Please note that it is a condition of play that players must replace
divots, carry a pitch mark repairer and repair at least two pitch
marks per green. Please remember to keep your receipt on your
person when playing. Anyone unable to produce a receipt will be
told to leave the course. We would ask members to convert to soft
spikes when they renew their golf shoe studs.
CHECKING
IN AT CLUBHOUSE
Checking
in at Clubhouse - Members MUST show membership card on check in
at the clubhouse to obtain members reduced green fees - if no
card produced, members will have to pay visitors green fees (please
keep your receipts in case of any query). Option One Members who
do not pay green fees must obtain a nil receipt before playing.
EARLY
TEE OFF'S
Anyone
wishing to Tee off before 08.04 am must prepay at the Clubhouse
and show their receipt on request.
